1982 : Equipment Upgrades

In 1982, the company purchases its first 40" press, a Heidelberg 2-Color Perfector. Larger presses, larger format sheets mean more space. After investigating the area and future goals a new building is purchased in 1984 -- a 21,000 sq. ft. building in Williston, Vermont. In addition, a second 2-Color Heidelberg is purchased, more staff joins the family and an in-house mailing facility starts up. Customer demand and expectation for “one stop shopping” leads to the creation of a mailing division, Executive Mail Associates. Business continues to expand with the addition of a sales office in Boston, MA. The photocomposition division is slowly morphing into a Macintosh driven Desktop Services Department. Scanners are added to satisfy demand from the metropolitan area.
